Caleb Strassberg

Caleb has come home to bring his NFL experience to the Wilmington community. As a physical therapist and athletic trainer he worked the 2019 season with the Los Angeles Chargers and 2020,2021 seasons with the Denver Broncos. Knowing what it takes to be a pro athlete, he specializes in strength and conditioning and sport performance. With a doctorate of physical therapy degree, he is passionate about helping all individuals reach their fitness goals anywhere on the rehab-fitness-performance continuum.

“When looking for the next chapter of my life outside the NFL, I wanted to come home and be a training coach for anyone pursuing an active and healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s a high school or collegiate athlete aspiring to reach the next level or anyone determined to get stronger and leaner. If you’ve had a recent injury, have a body ache or pain that flares up during your workouts, or the traditional rehab setting did not fully get you back to your sport or recreational activities, I can fill that gap and be that versatile personal trainer, performance coach, and physical therapist. These services have often been divided as separate entities with different providers, but it’s all the same systems of the human body, and I’m here to help you reach your goals.”

As an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was in the weight room daily and developed a passion for training and exercise science. Afterwards, he attended the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, ranked the #1 program in the country. He continued his lifestyle in the gym and worked as a personal trainer for USC Recreation and Sports. As a PT student, he visited with multiple NFL teams, and after graduating, began a Master’s of Science of Athletic Training program to become a specialist working with athletes.

Other than gym training, his other favorite activities include surfing, skating, and playing guitar. He enjoys taking international vacations with his wife and surfing around the world, and he is a frequent rock concert attendee. He is an avid Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan and a complete nerd over everything Marvel and Star Wars.
